  I had several issues with Westport family medicine. The first of which was that when I switched over to them they apparently couldn't get my medical records even though I signed off on requesting them 4 times. After over a year and multiple complaints my doctor finally looked at my record after I said "My old doctor said they sent them?" She tells me "Oh it looks like we've actually had them for almost a year just in a different part of the system." Then the PCP I signed up for based on reputation left after less than a year since I signed up for the practice. I scheduled with a new PCP (a physical took me a month and a half to get an appointment) and I literally waited almost an hour and a half for a scheduled appointment! The dr was good once I was actually seen I should note but whats the point of me setting an appointment over a month in advance if its going to take this long? The last straw was today I woke up with an obvious case of conjuctivitis so I called into the office to see when the walk in was open. There was an automated voice recording which still talked about my old doctor that left approximately 4 months ago and then said the walk in opened at 8:30am. I show up at 8:45 and they tell me the walk in is open at 11 now. I tell the women "I called in this morning and it told me 8:30?" and she tells me "We're in the process of changing that recording." without any semblance of being empathetic towards me showing up based on their current recording. In total, it seems as though the dr's are good here but the administrative side of things has no idea what they are doing to the point where it doesn't even matter. You'll regret it if you go!
